Tori Eaton—Tori was born in Provo, but moved to Illinois when she was four days old and lived there until she returned to BYU. She has a BS from BYU in Recreation Management/Youth Leadership. Ironically, her emphasis in College was Youth Agency Administration (YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts, and so on). She and her husband, Eric, have two children, Adam (15) and Ali (17). Tori loves trying all sorts of new things. She has had a bucket list since Junior High to which she keeps adding. She has accomplished about 130 things and still has 200+ on which she is still working.
Betty Robinson—Betty was born in Mt. Pleasant and raised in Moroni, Utah. She is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and attended Utah Technical College. Alan Robinson and Betty have been married 19 years after meeting in a Singles Program in their LDS Stake. Alan made Betty pass a certain test before he would think about them being together. As you see, Betty passed with flying colors and became his wife. Alan and Betty have two daughters at home Jennifer (17) and Emily (15), as well as two older daughters and seven grandchildren. Betty loves reading, camping, working in the yard, spending time with family and going on trips with the seniors.
Connie Farish—Connie was born and raised in the beach cities of Hermosa, Redondo and Torrance, California. She had the best of both worlds: playing at the beach and riding horses at her father’s ranch in Grass Valley, California. She met and married Michael Farish at El Camino College. They have been married for 37 years and have six kids and nine-and-a-half grandchildren. Connie moved to Springville almost six years ago to live near her married kids. She loves to write letters to her family, visit antique stores and go horseback riding. Connie LOVES working at the Springville Senior Center.
Virginia Van Patten—Virginia was raised in Orem and moved to Springville 20 years ago. Her father was a chemistry professor at BYU and she was raised with three brothers and two sisters. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Behavioral Science from UVU in 2011 between 20 years of going to school, having three daughters, three sons, husbands and illness. Virginia loves gardening, playing in her greenhouse, camping, boating, reading, cooking and hiking. She has been writing stories for years and hopes to be published someday. She started coming to the Senior Center in 2012 to use the exercise room and started volunteering soon after. She is glad that her volunteering turned into a staff position. She absolutely loves being of service and being friends with everyone at the Senior Center!
Jenifer Banz—Jenifer has been active at the Senior Center for almost fifteen years. She is always there to greet people and to assign or say the prayer over the food at 12:00 o’clock. She helps serve the food also. Jenifer was born in Mar Vista (Los Angeles county), California and graduated from Venice High School. She attended Cosmetology College earning her California license and worked thirty plus years. Jenifer has five children, six step children, twenty grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Jenifer has over 200 collectable spoons. She said they don’t take up much room in the suitcase. She recently crossed seeing Australia, New Zealand and Fiji off of her bucket list.
